What Is PET?

PET stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate. It is a clear, lightweight plastic used widely in beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, and food packaging. When you pick up a transparent water bottle or a shampoo bottle with a glossy finish — that is PET.

What Is HDPE?

HDPE stands for High-Density Polyethylene. It is a tougher, more opaque plastic used for chemical containers, jerry cans, drums, and industrial fluids. When you see a 5-litre engine oil container or a pesticide bottle — that is HDPE.
