Square base design: Many oil bottles are square or rectangular for shelf stability. Square moulds require precise corner radii to avoid stress concentration and bottle failure at corners.
Wider neck finishes: Oil bottles use 38mm, 45mm, or 63mm neck finishes — wider than standard water bottle necks. This affects the neck insert design and cap compatibility.
Label panel flatness: Oil bottles are almost always label-applied (OPP or sleeve). The label panel must be flat to within 0.3mm for clean label application. This is a cavity finish requirement you must specify.
